Awards Day is behind us. One day of school left. Swimming is planned for tomorrow. Also, the SCC is providing the staff and students with Pizza and Ice Cream at lunchtime.
Make sure that you remember to take all of your belongings home tomorrow. Check the extensive lost and found items lining our hallways.

Tomorrow is our UPS Awards. The program starts promptly at 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday, both Division I and II are swimming. Bring what you need. Also, start taking home things you do not need at school any more. Everything must be taken home so make sure you have enough room in your backpacks to carry it all.
Wednesday will be clean up and take down. Please come prepared to do some "chores".

Try to get the Art Tessellations finished as well, but studying comes first, right after some fresh air and exercise outside.
Baby pictures needed by Friday.
Wear grad wear or school colors for a class photo on Friday, too.

Math Test tomorrow.
Science Test on Friday.
French Test on Friday, too.
Art Tessellations need to be handed in before Friday (that means work on it tonight).
Science workbook should have the puzzle and word search page completed.
Yearbook order forms so that numbers can be determined must be in by 9:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21st.

Depending on the weather, there will be swimming tomorrow for grade 6's.
MATH - homework to be completed for tomorrow is on Experimental Probability pages 278 and 279. We completed question 1 in class. Do it if you were not here. Complete questions 3,4,5 (Step by Step 7) and 6. Do not do 4(e) unless you want to.

Math - have done for Monday, the fraction page of the Theoretical Probability booklet, and use the one spinner on the spinner page for the Explore in Experimental Probability. Study the Explore and Connect in Experimental Probability and write the notes about it and the equation. Be ready for the assignment on Monday and Tuesday. Have your work done for Monday. Class time is running out and there is a test on Thursday.
Science - planets - booklet pages 27, 28 29 for Monday and your final exam in on Friday, June 22nd.
French Portraits must be done for Tuesday, 9:00 a.m.
If you have missed classes and need to make up work, you will need to come early, work at your recesses and you may have to forego swimming on the 19th in order to be ready for your tests.

Health - Tobacco Information and Puzzle pages are due for tomorrow.
Math - complete corrections in the previous work. Do page 269 and 270 - for Tuesday you should have completed the graphs for questions 1,2 & 4. During class tomorrow you should complete the step by step 5 which is questions 3 and 5 (b) if you do not have pennies at home to do. Make sure you do that experiment about 25 to 30 tosses to get an accurate sampling of results.

Thanks to Mr. Sander, Mrs. Tyagi, Mrs. Ireland and Mrs. Sherwood for chaperoning today and being group leaders.
Thanks to Joyce for transporting us safely.
For tomorrow, make sure your work posted in yesterday's blog is completed.
Rest up and see you tomorrow.

Social - pages 52 & 53 in Government workbook must be done for the next class.
Math - pages 261 & 262 questions 1,2,3 and page 265 questions 1 and 2 are completely done, all parts, for Thursday's class.
Library books should be returned to the Library now.
5/6 Class trip is scheduled for tomorrow. Please come prepared to be outside for the day with proper footwear and clothing. Bring a good, healthy lunch that will "keep" in the heat and lots of water. Other outdoor essentials, as we have discussed and was in the letter sent home last week.
Also, bring your best attitude and manners. You are representing UPS.

Grade 6 class trip to Luseland Bible Camp is on Wednesday, June 6th. Please come prepared for whatever the weather and lots of activity. No flip flops, sandals, short shorts or skinny tops. Make sure you are able to participate in all activities at a high level and that your choice of clothing is not a reason to be unable to participate.
You will need a good, healthy bagged lunch, lots of water, sunscreen, hat, helmet, bug spray. If you choose to bring electronics, you are completely responsible for those items and must keep them with you, yourself.
We will be leaving by 8:45, so be here on time to make sure everyone has what they need.
