Skills Bank books still need to be completed and corrections done.

You may have homework in Social Studies and Science. French clothing assignment, too.

Book Orders are due on Thursday, March 3rd.

Ski forms and money must be in March 1st - tomorrow.

Kids in the Kitchen forms must be back in the office by 9 a.m. on Friday morning. No lates.

Newsletter went home today - watch for it on-line or ask for the paper copy, if you get one.

Hooray! It's the weekend followed by a week off!

Homework items are for individual students only - you know who you are.

When you return on Monday, February 28, 2011, it will be Day 6.

Day 4 - Thursday, February 18, 2011

Math Assignment on Angles - pages 127 to 129 - complete questions 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 (step by step) 7 and copy the Reflect notes. Those of you who are at home ill - all the pages you need to complete this work are at your desk at school.

Social posters due for presentations.

French - clothing posters due.

Library tomorrow.

February break all of next week. When you return to school it will be Day 6, February 28th.

Book Fair is coming up in March watch for posters and notices.

Day 3 - Wednesday, February 16, 2011

Skills Bank corrections and pages finished for Friday or recesses and noon hours will be taken after the break to get these pages completed.

Health - Risk Taking and consequences for Thursday.

Library is on Friday. Have all of your books back before the break.

Day 1 - Monday, February 14, 2011

Happy Valentine's Day to you all.

We sure had a lot of treats here today. Thank you to the SCC for doing our supervision and sending us out for lunch. That was the best treat of all.

Some students have to get their Skills Bank booklets finished and handed in, but other than that there was nothing else for homework.

Rural Health forms were due back today. Please have them here tomorrow at the latest.

Our new Math unit is on angles and polygons, naming, classifying, drawing and measuring angles and angles in polygons. Please question your child about what they are learning in Math every day.

Newsletter went out today - check it for very important dates and happenings and photos from Spirit Week.

Friday, February 11, 2011 - Day 6

The Math Test seemed to go okay - with a little assistance and a few reminders. Results, hopefully, by Monday.

French - Clothing assignment is due for French class and is homework if you did not get it done during class.

Rural Health Study packages are due back at the school on Monday.

One more week until the February break.

Have a good weekend and enjoy some fine winter weather.

Day 5 - Thursday, February 10, 2011

All Skills Bank pages and corrections must be done for Friday at 10:45 - before the test on Decimals. No lates, no excuses, you have known about this all week.

Rural Health Study packages are to be back by Monday, February 14th. The grade 6's only have 10 of the 20 back at this time.

Day 4 - Wednesday, February 9, 2011

Math - Skills Bank all pages and corrections up to and including page 176 is to be done for tomorrow. The only question assigned in today's class is a problem solving one on page 117 - 1 (a) and (b).

This class needs 11 more Rural Health Study packages sent back by Monday. Please take the time to consider this worthwhile project.

Math Test is on Friday - Decimals Unit.

Library is tomorrow - have your books here.

Day 3 - Tuesday, February 8, 2011

Math - Skills Bank corrections must be caught up. We have the last two pages of division with Decimals to do tomorrow and Thursday, plus a bit more work in the Unit before the test on Friday. The Skills Bank must be completely done for Friday - corrections included - or you will be spending recesses and after school time next week getting it done.

Social - Scurvy questions 3 & 4 are to be done for Wednesday.

Rural Health Study reminder to keep sending back the packages.

Math Test on Decimals is Friday.

The newsletter which went home Monday has some important dates to note.

Day 2 - Monday, February 7, 2011

Keep the Skills Bank caught up and the Decimal unit questions (today's p.111 - do 3, 4, 5 (Step by Step) and 8. ) The Decimals Unit test is on Friday.

Math - Skills Bank pages 174 & 175 and all corrections are due for Monday (unless told otherwise Meals on Wheels people).

Get on top of the "Missing Assignments" list from Mrs. David's classes.

Rural Health Study from the University of Saskatchewan forms went home today. Parents please look them over. If you wish for your child to take part in this study, please complete all of the information packet and return it all to the classroom teacher. If you choose to not have your child participate in the study, return all contents in the envelope to the classroom teacher, as well.
Forms are due back on February 14th.

Hello from home. I am sick with the flu. I hope that you were all kind to Miss Shepherd (my sub) today.
If she assigned Math homework, please have it done for tomorrow. If not, lucky you.
Spirit Week continues with "beach day" tomorrow and activities in the gym at noon. I hope you all enjoyed the juice and muffins this morning.
Better weather is on the way. Watch and listen for the "groundhog's" prediction for the rest of the winter.
I'm not sure if I will be at school tomorrow or not.

Oh, yes, don't forget Book Orders are due tomorrow, too.
