No School for students on Monday, November 29th. The teachers have a professional development day where they are learning further material in the First Steps in Math program (at UPS) and Differentiated Instruction (at UCHS).
Tuesday, Math p. 61 questions 1 and 2 are due.
Timeline information is still needed.
We are having a spirit day on Wednesday, December 1st. It will be "twin or triplet" day. So get together with a friend at UPS and dress alike.
Also, on Wednesday is the SCC sub lunch for which students previously ordered.
The weather has returned to "great" so get out and enjoy it.
Then, on Sunday, cheer on the Riders in their bid for the Grey Cup.

The students did well at the Volleyball Tournament. The students who did not go worked very hard on jobs that needed to be done around the school and helped the younger students in their classes. Great job Sixes!
Book orders were sent home today for TeanReader, Arrow, Click and Holiday Gifts. This will be the last book order sent before Christmas and will have to be back at school by Friday in order for the books, etc. to be here before we break for Christmas.

Social Studies timeline information for class (dates you learned to walk, talk, etc.)
Music - recorder money for Mrs. May no later than December 1st.
Sub Lunch is on December 1st - if you ordered.
Parent-Teacher Interviews are Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Please contact the school during the day if you will be unable to make your interview time.
5/6 Volleyball Tournament students are leaving tomorrow morning at 9:15 and will be back by 3:00 p.m.
Christmas Concert plays and choirs are getting organized. The Newsletter will have details about Carol Festival Choir, as well. Watch for information.
Dress for the weather. Students are required to go outside during recesses and noons and must be dressed for the wind and the cold.
Hopefully, I will meet all of the parents in the next two nights. See you then.

Make sure that Math is done up for Monday. Skills Bank to end of . 165 (corrections, too) and page 56 & 57 from Practice in the text - questions 1 to 6.
Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday for those on the boys and girls teams.
No school tomorrow - Friday, November 19th - day in lieu of evening interviews for teachers.
Evening interviews are next Tuesday and Wednesday. Please bring the report cards with you unless you have sent them back to the school beforehand.

Sub Lunch forms and money and Craft Club forms and money are both due tomorrow. There will be no lates.
The Volleyball tournament is on Tuesday. Mr. English is taking all of the boys from grade 6, but Miss Schell is only taking her "team". So, grade 6 girls, you are expected to be at school on Tuesday and you will have things to do.
