The Math assignment is as follows: Strategy Toolkit - p. 185 Practice #1 and #2. For question 2 you should have two different designs that each total exactly $10.00 - you will need to complete this at school in order to use the polygon pieces.
Then, the Exploring Percent - definition of percent needs to be written down. Then, complete Practice questions #1, 2, and 3 - ready carefully, all parts. Then, do questions 6 and 7 using your hundredths grid squares (one only for each question). Also complete #8, 9, 10, 12 & 12 is the Step by Step #7. I will be giving about 20 minutes of tomorrow's class for students to finish up this work, but it must mostly be done by tomorrow, and, must be finished by 11:05 a.m. on Tuesday. Also, make sure corrections on previous assignments are done.
Science - due for Wednesday - film cannister write up. Past due - airplane technical report - 1 page and finish question #4 on page 207.
Track and Field forms are due on Wednesday - no lates.
Health Test on Thursday. Judging by the writing assignments handed in, some students need to put in a greater effort in Health.
A "blue" note and permission about the upcoming Grade 6 Class Trip is coming home along with this week's newletter. The "blue" permission must be back no later than Thursday of this week.
Students' behavior and keeping up with homework will be considered in whether or not they go on this class trip since it is funded by SCC.
