Another good day! Many of the student registration forms have been returned already. Thank you for your quick response. Also, school fees are starting to come in, too.
Look for the orange half page inviting parents and students to the welcome breakfast on Friday morning. We hope to see you there to enjoy pancakes, juice, coffee and visiting.

Monday, August 20, 2010 - Day 1
Welcome Back! Welcome to grade 6. We had a good, but busy day getting organized and starting new classes with new teachers.
A letter outlining expectations from me, Mrs. Soloski, as well as registration forms was sent home today in the student Day Planners. Please complete the form and become familiar with the contents of the letter as soon as you can. Parents are asked to initial the student Day Planners and students will hand them in on my cabinet each morning for me to see notes and to initial, as well. Parents, please use the Day Planner as a communication tool about times students will be absent so that homework can be prepared ahead of time.
On Friday, September 3rd the UPS SCC is hosting a welcome breakfast beginning at about 8:00 a.m. Then, if the weather cooperates, the students will be taking a tour of the canola field out by the NorthWest Terminal. Students need to come dressed for the weather and it is essential that proper footwear be worn and long pants as the canola stubble can be very scratchy.
The next PhysEd class is on Day 4 (check your timetable) and the students should have the required change of clothing for that class.
